La bibliografía española retrospectiva: un proyecto piloto en la Biblioteca Nacional de España

Abstract

A diferencia de otros países europeos y a pesar de contar con una rica tradición en materia bibliográfica, España no cuenta hasta la fecha con una bibliografía que recopile su producción histórica impresa. En la actualidad, apoyados por la actividad del grupo de trabajo sobre bibliografías retrospectivas del CERL y aprovechando el actual ecosistema de intercambio de datos, se plantea por primera vez un proyecto piloto para su desarrollo a partir de los registros del Catálogo Colectivo del Patrimonio Bibliográfico y la Biblioteca Nacional de España.

Unlike other European countries, and despite having a rich tradition in bibliography, Spain does not yet have a bibliography that compiles its historical printed output. Currently, supported by the work of the CERL’s working group on retrospective bibliographies and making use of the existing data-sharing ecosystem, a pilot project is being proposed for the first time to develop such a bibliography based on the records of the Spanish Bibliographical Heritage Union Catalogue and the National Library of Spain.
