Gestionar lo efímero: gestión de “ephemera” en el fondo Maria Lluïsa Borràs (UDG)

Abstract

La gestión de ephemera desafía las normativas bibliográficas tradicionales, generando a menudo "colecciones ocultas". Este artículo expone el modelo del Fondo Maria Lluïsa Borràs (UdG), que procesó 7.745 documentos mediante una base de datos relacional ad hoc. Priorizando la recuperación por evento y la perspectiva de género frente a la rigidez del formato MARC, el proyecto integra digitalización y herramientas de humanidades digitales para transformar documentos efímeros en un patrimonio vivo y accesible para la investigación.

The management of ephemera challenges traditional bibliographic standards, often resulting in "hidden collections." This paper presents the model developed for the Maria Lluïsa Borràs Fondo (UdG), which processed 7,745 documents using an ad hoc relational database. Prioritizing event-based retrieval and a gender perspective over the rigidity of the MARC format, the project integrates digitization and digital humanities tools to transform ephemeral documents into living heritage accessible for research.
